Ingredients: - 4-6 lb brisket - 4 onions - 1.5 cups red wine - 2 tbsp tomato paste - 2 tbsp brown sugar - 2 tbsp onion soup mix - 1/4 cup water Steps: 1) Preheat oven to 450 degrees (f) 2) Cut up onions into rings and place on bottom of pan 3) Put brisket in, fat side up, pour wine over and bake at 450 degrees for 30 minutes (covered) 4) Remove from oven. Turn oven down to 325 degrees. Mix in brown sugar, tomato paste, onion soup mix and water. 5) Cover again and return to oven for 2.5 hours.
